A night of poetry reading will be hosted by the Van Buren Public Library on February 16. The readings will begin at 6:00 p.m. and last for around an hour. There will also be cookies and drinks to enjoy.
The event is being sponsored by the Barton Rees Pogue Poetry and Arts Festival Committee. This organization is made up of the following local organizations - Upland Lion’s Club, SEG-Way News, Our Town Upland, and the Historical Society. Their goal is to promote local poet Barton Rees Pogue and the appreciation of poetry and the arts in general.
